Students don’t have to bring drinking water from home anymore

Mirpur Shaheen school runs its educational activities with the support of donor organizations since its establishment. Recently they have installed two electric water filters with the financial support from their donor organizations. Kolorob’s feedback mechanism played a crucial part in taking this initiative. Moreover, feedbacks from Kolorob acted as a strong evidence for the donor organizations which assisted school authority in bringing changes. Now both parents and students are grateful to the school authority as their requirements were considered with the proper actions. 

To ensure hygiene, washrooms are being cleaned twice daily

Mirpur Shaheen School strictly instructed the cleaner to ensure hygiene & cleanliness of five functional toilets twice a day (during break time & after school period) using phenyl and Harpic toilet cleaner. School authority was not unaware of the poor hygiene issues before however Kolorob’s several feedbacks driven them in taking actions in fastest way.

Decision was taken to place waste bin in each classroom as part of cleanliness.

To keep school premises and classrooms clean, a decision was taken from school committee meeting that plastic bin will be placed in each classroom. Based on this decision, action will be taken in the upcoming month, shared school authority. School authority thinks, taking actions not only means mitigating existing limitations but also giving value to the feedbacks. It will also encourage service recipients to provide feedbacks in the future as well. Furthermore, school authority is considering Kolorob as a monitoring tool where service recipients themselves assisting in improving service quality through sharing gaps and areas of improvement.

Besides the above initiatives, in response to the feedback, Mirpur Shaheen School is also considering bringing following changes:

  1. Establishing a library
  2. Installing separate washroom for females
